Yes, different series leads price difference, our series is japanese technology and price is reasonable based on quality guaranteed, it saves more energy and wight is lighter.

However we have a cheaper series (level 2) for chain block, attached specs.

He also said if factory can make a safety lock, he can order 3000 pieces but the blade must be made by carbon steel with hardness 56-57HRC.

I see you picture, Right 6 pcs (1/16, 5/64, 3/32, 7/64, 1/8, 9/64) are straight shank

Left 7 pcs (5/32, 11/64, 3/16, 13/64, 7/32, 15/64, 1/4) are triangle shank.

Would you pls confirm what you need is these.

I am not sure at the moment as I have to follow up with our customer. This Wednesday, they will bring a sample by, and we will test the hardness to see if they have high quality or low quality material. Furthermore, we will be able to see if all the drill bits have triangle shanks or not.

I'm not sure if they my customer is serious or not, as they haven't given us a sample for hardness testing, but I think the steel quality is 4341, and they need triangle tapered shank for larger sized bits.

3/16, 13/64, 7/32, 15/64, 1/4 are triangle shank. For other 8 smaller pcs are straight shank.

Noted, and thank you for the quote. I think our customer may have considered another vendor because they asked us to return the original sample back to them. Their plan was for us to give them bulk drill bits, and they pack the drill bits into a metal box themselves, and we also provide them with retail display box to fit the drill bits and metal boxes into. I'll notify them about your quote to see if there is still a chance to earn their business.
