With high efficiency and easy maintenance, lifting clamps are convenient to operate and carry. They can be divided into horizontal lifting clamps, vertical lifting clamps, overturned lifting clamps and other types, which greatly reduce the resource of manpower and improve efficiency. The unique design makes it possible that the heavier the load is, the tighter they grip it.
Lifting clamps have the uniform distribution and they lift the heavy weight by opening the clamp jaw and gripping steadily on the goods. Operators should make the heavy goods reach the ground firstly and then take down the lift clamp in the case of zero loading. Two pieces of clamps are used for the testing, but 2 pieces or 4 pieces are recommended for lifting operation. Lifting clamps offer the users best performance and ensure perfect security under different work conditions. Besides, clamps can be used in single pairs, double pairs or tripod configuration with a lifting sling.
Lifting clamps can hold the plates with a friction gripping force, which can be locked through a lever, while holding the plate and till the lever is unlocked, the plates are not released. They usually consist of a body, cam, and cam pin and other parts. All of the major components are within the body made of die-forging for maximum strength and durability also there is no projection from the body for easy operation. The work piece cannot be lifted while the clamp is unlocked, and it will be possible to visually confirm that the clamp is unlocked. What’s more, the clamping force increases in proportion to the weight of the load. One thing that needs to mention is that single clamps can be used to transfer lightweight loads, but they are generally used in pairs when lifting and transferring heavier loads.

1. Grip|lifting shackle
There are safe and secure grips on the beam which are long life use. Serrated gripping cam bites into load or positive grip and clamps in position on edge of plate until tension is applied to the load sling.
2. Spring
The spring attached to the cam assembly allows the clamp to close on any desired spot and only one operator to place the clamps and guide the hoist. When they are under loading, operators have to up the lock lever to tighten lock spring. And when you could unload, make down the lock lever to loose lock spring. The spring-load tightening lock mechanism/ spring automatic close device assures a positive initial clamping force.
3. Safety mechanism
Thanks to the safety mechanism, lifting clamps won’t slip under the circumstances that the load is being lowered or the lifting force is applied. There are also equipped with optional locking device to control the work in case of emergency.
4. Jaw
Those flattened or reinforced jaws that hardened for durability contact with high surface, distribute load evenly and the light weight clamps with large and flexible jaw opening wide range of which rated load capacity and size of jaw opening are clearly shown on lifting clamps so that they can handle with different weight of loads. 5. Pads
Along with jaws, pads are manufactured from high tensile steel and have heat treated serrated teeth.
6. Cams
High-frequency quenching of special alloy steel cams which are drop forged and heat treated for long lasting life and safe gripping power are suitable for plates of different hardness. They are preloaded cams with dual design. When the stopper mechanism is set, the cam with introduction hardened will be locked in an open position, and will be easy to set the clamp onto the work piece. Cam operations function as a lifting shackle ensuring a tight grip on the load which means the load is held firmly while goods are being lifted.
7. Pivot|lifting point
Lifting clamps are equipped with standard and extra hardened 3 pivots for extra powerful clamping force. Low profiles are afforded by integral pivot/lifting point. They also include pivoting eye for hoist attachment.
8. Ring|hook
The standard clamps are fitted with a hook ring this can be replaced with a short length of chain and master link.
9. Balance beam|suspension bar
They are needed for big sized steel plate. Beam clamp used to provide a fixed suspension point from a beam which provides lower lifting point.
10. Bar
A bar located at the bottom of the beam clamps are designed for attaching a hoist to load.

1. Beam clamps

2. Horizontal lifting clamps
Horizontal lifting clamps are especially suitable for lifting, transporting and moving steel plates, templates, concrete pipes, box materials, parts or goods, profiled bar and construction in horizontal position, which are high efficient auxiliary machines. One thing that needs to pay attention is that they must always be used in pairs or multiples and avoid snatch or shock loading during the operation The horizontal lifting clamps are fastened to suitable slings and attached at three or more points on the load. 3. Vertical lifting clamps
Vertical lifting clamps with articulated eyes are usually suitable for vertical lifting of steel plates and steel structures. One piece of clamp is used for the testing, and one piece or two pieces are recommended for lifting operation. One thing that needs to pay attention is that only lift one piece of the clamp one time and multi plates can be lifted. The main body and the shackle of vertical lifting clamps are made of high-frequency quenching of die-forged special alloy steel which are optimally tempered for maximum strength and durability. They are fitted with a locking device for both open and closed positions, which ensures complete safety. It is necessary to pull upward the shaft for straining the spring when hoisting the cargos. And press the shaft down when loading off, after releasing the spring, clamp and steel plate will be separated from each other. Vertical lifting clamps adopt automatic powerful clamping mechanism that clamps securely in portion to the weight of the load. What’s more the force of clamps is more than twice of the lifting load so that the material can be free from unnecessary scars.
When it comes to tightening, the clamp will lock onto the work piece when the lock handle is pulled completely upwards. After locked, the shock from the work piece coming to rest on the floor or the slackening of the sling rope will not cause the clamp to come lose from the work piece. What’s more, through pulling the lock handle, the clamp can be unlocked. And when unlocked there will be no clamping force on the work piece. Operators need to remember to never attempt to lift when the clamp is unlocked because clamping force on the work piece will be insufficient. The locking handle must be pulled up to tighten the spring and the locking handle is pulled down when unloading, the clamp and the plate can only be separated when the spring is loosened.

4. Round lifting clamps|rolling lifting clamps|pallet clamps
Pallet clamps usually made of metal are used for lifting the level of steel ingots and pulling loaded pallets, heavy crates with simple and reasonable structure but safe and reliable shipment flexible action. They are extremely easy and simple to use and make for safe lifting and available with spring an automatic close device to make sure the safety and maintenance when they are not used. Pallet clamps are usually picked with forklift truck. Besides, they are equipped with vice-controlled hook with crane shut up action switch. However, one thing that needs to mention is that pallet clamps can only hang by single drum and avoid overload use. When using, operators should to lock the screw counter-clockwise to clamps tightly and loosen the clamp mouse.

B. Pallet puller clamp

Cautions
1. Select the lifting clamps which are used for their intended purpose and always ensure the operator has access to operating instructions.
2. Overload is forbidden strictly during operation so never exceed the working load limit to use and use it in the allowable load range and the range of plate thickness.
3. Only one round steel can be lifted at a time, accordingly, more than two pieces are not allowed.
4. When clamping lifting works processed, do not touch the lifting object or crash the hanging objects and cargo. And only those people who have the qualification can be able to precede the suspension and hanging work.

7. Before using, you have to check the mouth clamp the plate, gasket, the jams between tooth’s, wear state and other abnormal phenomena.
8. Lifting process cannot be hit by hanging objects and avoid snatch or shock loading.
