           DF chain blocks which are driven by manpower through the chain and sprocket, are the kind of efficient and versatile lifting tools. they are one of the type of hand-pull hoist, which is also known as manual hoist or chain hoist. But it weighs much lighter than other chain blocks with the same paragraph. Through the slotted sprocket roll lifting chain, DF chain blocks are used to drive cargo lifting for small equipment and cargo short distance lifting machinery.

           The work principle of DF chain blocks is very easy to understand. When lifting heavy objects, pull the hoist clockwise to move the chain and sprocket, and counterclockwise to pull the chain when descending. The brake seat and brake plate are separated, and the ratchet wheel is still under the action of pawl. Our DF chain blocks are equipped with single ratchet friction disc brake to brake by itself under load. And the ratchet pawl meshes with the ratchet wheel, which has a function of ensuring brake can work safely under the operation of spring.

           Actually, the removal and installation of DF chain blocks are very simple, and only some simple manual tools are needed in the repair and maintenance. But there are also some tips customers should know. When installing the brake device part, please pay attention to the good mesh between the tooth groove of the ratchet wheel and the pawl. The spring should  be flexible and reliable to control the pawl. After installing the sprocket  wheel, rotate the sprocket wheel clockwise to press the ratchet wheel and friction plate on the brake seat.

1.Shell

5.Hooks

7.Lifting Sprocket

Cautions

1. The chain blocks should be cleaned and coated with antirust grease after using, and stored in a dry place to prevent the hand-pulled gourd from rust and corrosion due to damp.

2. The maintenance and overhaul should be carried out by those who are familiar with the chain block mechanism. The block parts should be cleaned with kerosene, and the gear and bearing parts should be lubricated with butter to prevent the machine from being disassembled and assembled at will.

3. After cleaning and maintenance, the chain block shall undergo no-load test to confirm normal operation and reliable braking before delivery.

4. The friction surface of the brake must be kept clean. The brake part should be checked frequently to prevent brake failure and heavy weight falling.

5. The roller of the left and right bearing of the lifting sprocket can be attached with butter to the bearing inner ring that has been pressed on the axle journal of the lifting sprocket, and then loaded into the bearing outer ring of the wallboard.

6. For ease of maintenance and disassembly, one part of the hand chain is open chain (no welding allowed).
