CD1/MD1 Electric Wire Rope Hoists mean CD1 Electric Wire Rope Hoists for single speed and MD1 Electric Wire Rope Hoists for dual speed. they utilize wire rope as the lifting medium and powered electrically, which are made up of a rope storage drum, motor(s), gear box and braking system with universal basic but strong configuration. Besides, with advanced technologies, the design of variable frequency control of electric wire rope hoists used to reduce the impact force and realize accurate positioning.
These type of electric wire rope hoists are originally invented by Soviet. Although they have a long history and out fashioned, they are still popular in developing countries because of their low price and high quality. These standard types of electric wire rope hoist (Standard Headroom / Monorail Wire-Rope Hoist) are typically used on single girder overhead crane systems. They come complete with their own incorporated trolley system which sits on the bottom beam/girder flange. Standard headroom hoists are normally utilized where there is no working height restrictions under the beam. This is because the hoist is suspended below the beam and therefore decreases the maximum height of lift of the crane. The fixing eyebolts allow the hoist fixing on a frame as a double girder trolley or in a suspended execution.

The trolley is electrically operated. This is due to the fact that the right rope can lift much heavier loads when compared to chain hoists. Also wire ropes will not likely drop the load immediately if overloaded, shock loaded or the rope fails as there are many wires and strands which make up the wire ropes and it is unlikely that they will all break at once, leaving some intact to hold the load until safely lowered. 1. Lifting motor
It is of the best quality motors, it has bigger torque, so it can be adapted to moving frequently, the Maximum torque is 2.4-3 times than the rated torque. Lifting motor uses tapered rotor motor with strong staring torque to adapt frequent direct staring in the intermittent work.CD1 electric wire rope hoists uses single speed motor and MD1 electric wire rope hoists uses dual speed motor. 2. Speed reducer
The electric wire rope hoists use helical gear three stage reducer. Gear and shaft are made by alloy steel and high carbon steel and through proper heat treatment to ensure its reliability and service life. the reducer is independent, so it’s easy to load and unload it. Box body and cover is made of cast iron to ensure hoist's good damping performance and reliable sealing
3. Rope drum
Grooved Drum, seamless pipe of adequate length to be wounded in one layer and to provide proper support for the rope to minimize abrasive wear is provided. Drum Shaft resolves on Ball Bearings for ensuring smooth running. Rope Drum is made of cast iron or seamless steel tube, using/with the help of spline transferring power. The selling of rope drum is welded with steel plate. Rope drum is the central heart of a hoist. The upper side is linked with traveling mechanism through equalizing beam. Both ends are connected with lifting brake and motor respectively. The lower side works together with hook through wire rope. Up front of the cover, limiting stopper guide-rod and heavy punch stop block are installed. Rope drum is inside the wire ropes.
4. Rope guide
Rope Guide is in two halves, ensuring easy accessibility. It encircles the Drum completely so that the rope may not uncoil even when the electric wire rope Hoist is in unloaded condition. The rope guides of ours is thickened and dilated, so that it is not easy to be damaged.
5. Limit switch
Limit switch devices are fitted at both top & bottom ends, switch off power automatically to prevent load chain from running out.
6. Safety brake
The dual-disk electromagnetic brake features automatic brake in the event of a power failure. As best of free brake linings designed for approx.1million braking operations make for long maintenance intervals.
7. Traveling mechanism
Traveling mechanism is made of electric crab, traveling motor, traveling reducer, driven crab and so on. Main engine hangs under the traveling mechanism moving reciprocally. The normal traveling speed is 20 or 30m/min. If the lift capacity is 1~5t and the lift height is or more than 12m, another driven crab is installed.
8. Electric device
The electric device of CD1 MD1 electric wire rope hoist consists of electric control box (No electric control box, if the lift capacity is 0.25t), button switch, Limiting stopper, connecting wires and so on. For Control Box, It has device with up and down stroke protection of break off limiter and can cut off main circuit in an emergency, which ensures safe operation of electric block. Electric elements are of long service life and operational safety. The normal operating voltage of button switch is 36V and 24V. Pressing the correct button can control the electric wire rope hoists through controlling on and off of the relay in the control box, according to the direction symbols on the button switch. Frame for electrical connections---Supplied on request. It has cable intake and allows the wiring of all the connections of the electrical equipment of the hoist and electric travel trolley, if present. The compartment for the electrical connections and/or any other low voltage control equipment, is closed with a shock resistant thermoplastic cover Low voltage controls---When the hoist is supplied complete with electric controls, the raise and lower and /or right and left functions of the trolley, are activated by electrical equipment which includes: The transformer for control circuits, The main contractor and the contactors/reversing contactor for controlling the motors, The fuses for protection of the motors and transformer, The terminal board for the connections of auxiliary and power circuits, The components are mounted on a hinged panel and fixed in a compartment located on the side opposite the motor, the controls are activated by a push-buttons-panel, supplied in AC at low voltage, 48V. The push-buttons-panel is ergonomically shaped, watertight and made of self-extinguishing, shock resistant, thermoplastic material, the emergency stop is activated by voluntarily pushing the mushroom shaped button, which starts the control circuit, the push-buttons-panel is connected to the electrical equipment by a multipolar electrical cable with break-resistant metallic cores.
9. Steel wire rope
Hoisting ropes comply with the exporting standards. The leading rope taken by the Drum does not slip sideways when slack. The factor of safety, on the nominal breaking strength of the rope is six. It uses GB1102-74(6*37+1) hoist steel wire rope which is durable in use.
10. Lifting hook
Lifting hook is forged with specialized steel. In the use of trust ball bearing, lifting hook is linked with shekel through hook beam making lifting hook go slick. If lift capacity is five ton or less than five ton, slide wheel is single. If lift capacity is ten ton or more than ten ton, slide wheels are double.

11. Gear
Through adopting Japanese technology, electric wire rope hoists are innovated symmetrical arrayed high -speed synchronous gears, and are made from international standard gear steel. Compared with common gears, they are more wearable and steadier, and more labor saving.
