           4WD winches complete the traction drive with human power or mechanical power driving a reel, which can lift vertically, horizontally and obliquely draw heavy weights. And the winch traction is usually valued by pound which can be converted to tons or kilograms. It is not always as simple as relying on a mate with traction to bale you out when you are off the beaten track. A 4WD Winches often consists of a motor, the coupling, the brake, the gear and the reel which are altogether on the machine frame.            They are widely used on SUV/ UTV which belong to 4-wheel drive while ATV winches used on ATV. The demand of the pull power for ATV is not too high and the car size is small. However, 4WD winches are applied for SUV or Jeep and the capacity can be manufactured for the customers’ requirements. The significant difference between ATV winches and 4WD winches is the pull power, which decides their use for different cars. 1.  Gearbox｜Gear
         4WD Winches have the final drive gear welded into the drum spigot and machined from the one piece of the steel, giving stronger and more reliable drive to the part of winch under the heavy load and providing fast line speed. The gearbox itself remained fairly dry, allowing the grease to stay clean and protect the gears. It only showed the slightest sign of water that dribbled out from the drum area once the gearbox was removed. Also, They feature heavy cast side plates and larger module gears, increasing strength and reliability, please take notice that the final drive gear is machined from bullet steel rather than second piece in the final planetary.

2.  Clutch switch｜free wheel clutch
         The clutch allows you to release winch rope by hand which is much easier to operate and not easy to break. Besides, with the knob, you can manually adjust to the cables. Thanks to the improved clutch system, it is flexible in engaging a disengaging operation.

3.  Wireless remote controller｜Handle wire controller
         Remote switch with lead, or wireless remote control are at your request, which are very convenient and easy for operators for using from a long distance.

4. Synthetic rope｜Steel cable
         Compare to those ropes which are loose, color fading and quite easy to break, our synthetic ropes are high-end  and strong to bear heavy load, which is also pre-fitted to drum. Besides, aircraft grade wire rope or wireless remote control is optional, both them are with high density, high strength, firm unity and long durability. Compared to an equivalent diameter wire rope, synthetic ropes are stronger and have appendage-friendly surfaces. It is wise to choose a larger diameter rope to maintain the same tensile strength because some winches have a higher temperature resistance but comes with lower tensile strength.

6.  4 roller fairlead S｜Hawse fairlead
         Roller fairlead usually made of aluminum is used to guide the rope onto the drum evenly.

         The stainless steel hardware are used throughout. Bolts, nuts and free spool handle are all made from high grade stainless steel, so no rust or corrosion to worry about for years to come.

8.  Motor
         This kind serious wound electric motor is quite powerful and efficient which aims at delivering plenty of power for operation. Also, the motor has good water resistance so that ensuring the durability and great adaptability.

9.  Hook
         The hooks are self-locking drop forged clevis.

10.  Optional accessories
         There are many optional accessories available such as emergency switch, wire rope arrangement, over-heat protector and others.

         4WD Winches feature extruded profile tie bars for additional strength against bunching of rope and spreading under load.

         The gloves are aimed to avoid the corrosion and harm to the 4WD Winches as much as possible when in using or carrying.

14.  Drum
           Winches are equipped with dual seals on both ends of the drum to prevent water and mud getting into the gearbox giving you confidence to tackle mud holes and river crossing. With the automatic braking in the drum, it will help lock the wire rope and stop pulling when you release button on the switch. The  quiet “brake outside the drum" allows rapid heat dispersion, which can keep cool and it ideal for use with synthetic rope.

           There is usually one-year warranty. Most of parts can be sold seprately and we can provide some free part even if these parts are broken in expired warranty period.
           2. Package
           The 4WD Winches are packed by thickened and multilayer, and with the handle, they are easier to tale. There are also other packing choices which are simple and weak, easy to damage and difficult to take. And the whole contents include electric winch, steel wire rope, fairlead roller, clevis hook, pulley, wireless remote control, hand remote control, battery wire, motor wire, accessory pack and user manual.

           4. Specifications
           There are many items of specifications such as winch motor(permanent magnet), voltage, single line pulling capacity, gear train, gear ratio, clutch, net weight and gross weight, overall dimensions, drum length, mounting hole, motor wire length, battery wire, steel cable and remote control cable.
           5. After-sale service
           We promised to repair the issue regardless of if it was caused by defect or misuse only if you have a problem in the first 6 months of ownership. But the 6 months repair does not cover damage caused to the rope or cable.
           6. Cautions
           ①Operators have to give the 4WD Winches a stop for a while to cool down while motor is overheating.
           ②Using winches as hoists or using them for transportation of people are totally forbidden and remember not to operate and spool under full load over one minute continuously.
           ③Make sure that the winch pull is 1.5 times of full loaded vehicles.
           ④Do not exceed the rated traction.
