Cautions for Use of Hydraulic Jack
 1.  Hydraulic Jack in lifting operation, to choose the appropriate tonnage of the hydraulic jack, bearing capacity can not be overloaded, generally choose the hydraulic jack bearing capacity needs to be greater than 1.2 times the weight of gravity; Hydraulic Jack minimum height is appropriate, in order to facilitate removal, choose the minimum height of hydraulic jack should be with the bottom of the weight. The clearance of the part applied force is suitable. The lifting height of the hydraulic jack is larger than the sum of the thickness of the sleeper and the deformation of the sleeper when the sleeper supports the heavy object during the lifting and landing process.             

 2.  If multiple hydraulic jacks are used to lift the same equipment, the same type of hydraulic jack should be selected, and the total rated lifting weight of each hydraulic jack should not be less than 1.5 times the weight of the equipment.            

 3.  Hydraulic jacks should be wiped clean before use, and the flexibility of each component should be checked, without damage and oil leakage. Don't unload the quick joint when there is load, so as to avoid accidents and damage parts.            

 4.  Hydraulic jacks should be laid flat before use, not inclined, and the bottom should be padded flat, so as to prevent the foundation from sinking or load deviation and make the hydraulic jacks inclined or overturned. The bearing area can be enlarged by using a tough pillow or steel plate at the bottom of the hydraulic jack to avoid accidents caused by collapse or sliding. Do not use oil-stained wood or steel plate as backing to prevent slippage and safety accidents. The lifting part of the heavy object must be a safe and solid part to prevent damage to the equipment.            

 5.  when using hydraulic jack, first try to lift a part of the weight, carefully check the hydraulic jack without abnormality, and then continue to lift the weight. If it is found that the cushion plate is uneven, unstable or the hydraulic jack is inclined or leaking oil, the hydraulic jack must be relieved  and returned, and the rear operation must be handled in time.     

 6.  During the lifting process, the safety sleeper timber frame should be laid under the weight in time with the rising of the weight, in order to prevent accidents caused by the inclination of the hydraulic jack or the sudden drop of the piston caused by the bursting of the tubing. When laying down heavy objects, the sleepers should be gradually pulled out. The distance between the sleepers and the heavy objects should not exceed the thickness of a sleeper in order to prevent accidents.            

 7.  When the hydraulic jack needs to be loosened, only slightly open the return valve, so that it can be slowly lowered, and can not suddenly drop, in order to avoid damage to the inner leather bowl and cause damage to the cylinder.            

 8.  If the lifting height of a heavy object needs to exceed the rated height of a hydraulic jack, the sleepers should be laid under the weight lifted by the hydraulic jack, the hydraulic jack should be lowered, the bottom of the jack should be raised, and the lifting height should be repeated until the required lifting height is reached.            

 9.  Hydraulic jack can not be used as permanent support equipment (nut self-locking hydraulic jack can be used for long-term support). If long time support is needed, the supporting part should be added under the weight to ensure that the  hydraulic jack is not damaged.            

 10.  Hydraulic jacks shall not be used in an environment above 80 C.            

 11.  When separating the hydraulic jack from the high-pressure tubing, the pressure should be eliminated first, and then the dust-proof cover of the joint should be rotated.            

 12. Hydraulic jacks should be stored in dry and dustless places. They are not suitable for use in workplaces with acid, alkali and corrosive gases, let alone in outdoor sunshine and rain.
