How to adjust the chain length of pallet truck
 Pallet chain adjustment. Nowadays, most of the chains on the gantry of pallet trucks are double-chain, with two kinds of chains, one is slice lifting chain and the other is sleeve stick chain. The structure is as follows: slice crane chain 1, movable joint shaft 2, upper lap buckle 3, chain 5, pin shaft 6, lower lap  buckle; sleeve roller chain 1, chain 2, pulley 3, adjusting bolt 4, chain fixing plate 5, fixing bolt 6, fork frame 7, adjusting nut. The chain of pallet truck is too long to reach the requirement of lifting height; the chain of pallet truck is too short to cause serious accident when the pallet truck runs  out of the channel steel of the door frame. Two chains are loosened and  tightened, resulting in overload and unbalanced load of one chain, which will  cause unstable and inflexible movement of fork and inner gantry. Therefore, it is necessary to adjust the two chains. The methods of adjustment are as follows:           

 1.  Parking the pallet truck on a relatively flat site, the portal frame is in a vertical state, the fork is lowered to the ground, and the piston (plunger) of the lifting hydraulic cylinder is lowered to the bottom stop point.            

 2.  Install the chain, one end of the two chains is connected with the fork and locked.           

 3.  Make the chain bypass the pulley, the other end of which is connected with the flange of the lifting  hydraulic cylinder block or the cross beam of the external portal frame, and adjust the chain length with hinge bolts.            

 4.  Put your finger at 1000 mm from the ground and press the chain with 49N force. The distance of the chain should be less than 20 mm, and adjust another chain with the same method.            

 5.  After adjusting the two chains, lift the fork and check the tightness of the two chains. The length of the two chains should be the same.           
 First of all, we should check whether the chain length of pallet truck is the same, if the length difference is greater than 5MM, it should be readjusted; the chain of pallet truck fittings must not be cracked and deformed, must rotate flexibly, and the elongation of every 20 chains does not exceed 8mm, if cracks, deformation and elongation exceed the stipulation, the chain pin must be  replaced; The wear of the sub shall not exceed 5% of the original diameter. It should be replaced when excessive wear, serious bending, fatigue cracks and  corrosion occur.           

 1.  Pay attention to safety when lifting pallet truck. Please use jack or block. Confirm the surrounding safety conditions. The rope used for lifting heavy objects should have sufficient safety factor. Before disassembling components with power tools, ensure that bolts, nuts, tubes and harnesses are completely separated.            

 2.  When handling heavy articles, use certain equipment or tools, not carry them by hand.           

 3.  When overhauling hydraulic system and other dust-proof parts, please use clean tools and carry out in clean and dust-proof areas.            

 4.  Before repairing or welding electrical system components, ensure that the lead of battery terminal is removed.            

 5.  Attention should be paid to preventing oil, gas and combustibles from entering the working area.            

 6.  Clean up the decomposed parts and tools. Warning signs are suspended on the engine or control handle during maintenance.            

 7.  It is not allowed to disassemble parts during engine operation.            

 8.  Don't stand under a fork or a fork rack. Blocks are used to block equipment and pallet shelves during pallet maintenance.            

 9.  Maintenance tools should be placed in order, checked regularly and used correctly.           

10  In a poorly ventilated room (workshop), the engine should not run for a long time.
