Five Daily Inspection Items in the Inspection Standard for fall arresters (1)           

 The main purpose of this paper is to emphasize the importance of the inspection standard of the fall arresters and  the five items that must be insisted on in the daily inspection. In the paper,  the criteria for the appearance of the fall arresters in the fall arresters standard are discussed incidentally, aiming at providing customers with the selection guide and technical support for ordering fall arresters products.           
 In the existing technology, the fall arresters mostly refers to the speed difference type fall arresters. It is a kind of fall protection device in the operation of human body at high altitude and industrial vertical transportation at high altitude. It can fall to protect the safety of goods or users. According to the different function and application scope of the fall arresters, the fall arresters can be divided into two kinds: the automatic control of the speed difference of the falling protection human body and the heavy-duty fall  arresters of the falling protection industry. However, many high-altitude crashes occur because many customers do not understand the inspection standards of anti-crash devices. According to the inspection standard of the fall  arresters, the fall arresters must be checked every day. So what items do we usually need to check? The author thinks that the inspection must be from inside to outside. Otherwise, when the inspection is finished, the inside should be dismantled. In the process of dismantling and assembling, problems may arise outside.           

1.check the condition of internal brake. Brake is a key component to play a locking role in the event of danger. Its safety is directly related to the life safety of high-altitude workers. Therefore, we must do a good job of safety inspection of fall arresters before using fall arresters. The hazards of not using fall arresters in high altitude operation are as follows: workers are  often required to use fall arresters, seat belt, safety rope and other personal  fall protection equipment when working at high altitude. With these equipment,  the safety goal of anti-falling in high altitude can be effectively realized and accidents can be reduced. Fall preventer belongs to fall protection equipment for high-altitude operation. When workers are working at high altitude, if an accident occurs, the fall preventer can brake and lock the falling object  quickly within a limited distance to prevent the occurrence of accidents. If  the fall arrester is not used, the performance of the rope is far inferior to that of the fall arresters in terms of safety, load-bearing capacity and flexibility, and the rope is prone to wear and tear in the course of use. If  the wear is serious, the rope will break, and its durability can not be guaranteed, while the performance of the speed difference self-locking device is excellent and firm. Solid wear resistance, large load bearing capacity, high flexibility, durable, safe and reliable. And according to the survey, most of  the causes of high-altitude crashes are rope failure caused by unstable rope or human factors.           
 2.  Inspection of external brakes. There are four parts of the brake to be checked: trivial parts, springs, wedges and bushes. Inspection parts need to pay attention to whether there is wear loosening; check springs need to check whether the expansion is normal; wedge need to check whether clean lubrication  is good; bushing need to check wear, bushing wear on each side is not allowed  to exceed 3 mm.
