How to Test High Altitude Fall arresters
 Throughout the status quo of high-altitude operation of industrial factory building decoration, the potential safety hazards are worrying.

 The traditional method of high-altitude operation is to erect scaffolding in the workshop.The workers climb to the top of the scaffolding for construction. It is difficult to stand and walk, and the safety is very poor. In the construction process, mobile scaffolding needs to be disassembled and assembled frequently. It is not only labor intensive, but also high-altitude operation efficiency underground.           
 In recent years, through improvement, some construction units have made special high-altitude working platform with a height of more than ten meters.For the sake of portable operation, the platform size is only 1-2 meters, the construction area is extremely limited, and it still needs to move frequently, and for safety, when moving, the constructors often need to climb up and down, and the working efficiency at high altitude is high. It is still not high, and in order to increase the single construction area and speed up the progress of the project, the constructors often find out the platform for construction in violation of regulations,and there are serious potential safety hazards. If some construction units want to speed up the construction progress and shorten the construction period, they must invest several high-altitude operation platforms at the same time, which increases the project construction investment and cost.           
 After the installation of the high-altitude fall arresters according to the instructions, it is necessary to test the fall arresters to ensure its safety. So how to carry out the detection work of the high-altitude fall arresters? The detection of high-altitude fall arresters includes three steps: preparation of detection, detection process and calculation of braking distance.           

 I. Preparations for Safety Testing of High Altitude Crash Preventers           
 1.  Cut off the main power supply, switch the electrical box to the state of "installation and maintenance", install the cables used in the test, and then simulate the working state of the fall arresters at high altitude.           
 2.  Connect the cable used in the test to the connection base marked "Fall-proof Test" in the electric box of the suspension cage, and fix it near the electric box of the suspension cage.           
 3.  Put the torsion disc and cable on the ground station by proper method. After these works are finished, we can carry out the safety test of the fall arresters.           
 2.  Safety Detection Procedure of High Altitude Fall arresters           
 1.  The high-altitude fall arresters (according to the different use environment, the fall arresters has different safety loads, wire rope length and type of fall arresters. We usually call the large tonnage fall arresters as the high-altitude fall arresters, and the long wire rope fall arresters as the high-altitude operation fall arresters. The internal structure of the above fall arresters model is the same.) The suspension cage is loaded to the limit load, then the main switch is closed, the test cable is pressed and the "rise" button on the torsion box is pressed to drive the suspension cage up to the height of 10 meters from the ground.           
 2.  Then press the button below which shows the sign of "Falling Test", and the cage begins to slide quickly.           
 3.  When the falling speed reaches the action speed demarcated by the high-altitude fall arresters, the anti-falling safety device acts quickly and holds the suspension cage on the guide rail frame.           
 4.  Normally, the braking distance of the suspension cage should be 0.3-1.2m from the start of the fall arresters at high altitude to the stop of the suspension cage.
