On the morning of November 6, 2015, a dangerous thing happened at a construction site in Yangzhou. An electric hoist fell from a 3-meter-high bicycle and hit a worker  in the head. Then he fainted. However, 120 people could not find the way to the construction site. When the ambulance arrived, the worker lay motionless on the ground. The shape of electric hoist is relatively large, there will be some danger in the use process, so the staff must pay attention to it. Today, we mainly know what matters needing attention in the use of electric hoist,  through understanding I believe it will be helpful to staff.

 Electric hoist use more attention, especially the details of the place, will be more trivial. First of all, before using the equipment, we must check the mechanical part and electrical part of the equipment. These two parts are the most prone to problems, but also the important core part of the equipment. Electrical part is mainly to check whether there is leakage, if there is leakage phenomenon, we should quickly eliminate, otherwise there will be great danger in the use process.

 Secondly, electric  hoist should be equipped with buffer. The equipment can‘t run so fast when it is just running, otherwise it will be dangerous. The equipment with buffer installed will be slower when it is running, and then the speed will be faster gradually. This has a buffer time and process, which is good for the parts inside the equipment, and can greatly reduce the danger.

 Third, do a good job in trial operation. When the equipment is just in use, it must be put into trial operation first. During the trial operation, we can find out whether the equipment has problems, whether it can work normally, if there are abnormal phenomena, we can find out and solve them in time, so as to avoid irreparable problems in the real state of use.

 Finally, when lifting objects, we must tie them tightly. There will inevitably be some tremors during lifting. If we don't tie them tightly, it will cause danger to the staff if they fall in mid-air. And when lifting, it can't descend rapidly. It should be carried out slowly. Do not collide with equipment in normal use. After use, cut off the power supply and lock the switch box.

 Due to the staff's negligence in the daily maintenance of electric hoists, it led to accidents. It can be seen that in addition to the need to pay attention to the operation of electric hoists, the daily maintenance of electric hoists is also very important.

 Electric hoist maintenance Article 1: Regular inspection            

 Regular inspection is the first step in the maintenance of chain hoist. Only by inspection can we find the problem, that is, symptomatic maintenance. If it has been working for 500 hours, be sure to check the oil in the gearbox to see if the amount of lubricant is enough. In the future, we need to check every three months. If we find that there is insufficient oil, we should replenish it in time.

 Electric Hoist  Maintenance Article 2: Keep Dry            

 I believe you all know, for this kind of mechanical equipment, it is very important to keep dry. If it is wet or rainy, it may rust, leading to accelerated aging of the equipment and failure in use. If the chain hoist works outdoors, rain-proof equipment should be installed. If working in wet, high temperature and chemical area, after operation, drive away quickly to keep the parts dry so as to maintain the original performance.

 As the saying goes, "three days do not practice hand-made", if people do not work for three days, they will be strangers, and so will machinery and equipment. If you do not use it for a long time, it will rust and aging. So if you do not use chain hoist for a long time, you need to do anti-rust treatment and timely cleaning and maintenance, and run up and down for a few minutes to keep its performance.
