 Distinction 1: Small size, light weight. With the improvement of productivity, the crane industry has developed rapidly. Because of the adoption of new design concept and casting technology, the volume and weight of crane are greatly reduced compared with ordinary crane. ordinary cranes often weigh thousands of gold, but cranes are only a fraction or even a tenth of it. Portability and simplicity are the important characteristics of this kind of lifting equipment. Points and lines become the important projection areas in the operation process. Some light lifting equipment even simplified to a single lifting structure, lifting movement presents a single form, such as jacks, winches and so on. The reduction of volume and weight greatly reduces the use of consumables and workshop space, which can be regarded as the gospel for enterprises to reduce production costs.

 Difference 2: There  are many kinds and functions. Today, the hoisting industry has developed into a lot of types, and the same is true for cranes. Simply speaking, cranes include girder cranes, bridge cranes, cantilever cranes and so on. Among them, beam crane includes single beam and double beam, and cantilever crane includes column type, arm hanging type and balance type. With the increase of species, its functions are also increasing and subdivided. For example, bridge crane is mainly used to lift the weight hanging on the hook vertically, which can also make it move horizontally; arm-mounted crane is mainly used for directional lifting of the weight in relatively fixed space. Various types and subdivision functions make cranes more accurate than ordinary cranes to meet customer needs and improve their work efficiency.

 Difference 3: Price concessions. ordinary crane consumes more steel and so on, so it invisibly increases its cost. However, due to the adoption of intensive design and production concept, the crane has fewer consumables and lower production costs, so its price is relatively preferential, which can effectively save users' funds.

 Above mentioned are the three most important parts of the difference between light crane and ordinary crane. Understanding these differences, you can choose the lifting equipment with a clear aim and a clear mind. Understanding the difference between the two cranes, then how should we maintain a light crane?

 1. Check whether the equipment can run normally and whether there are abnormal problems.            

 2. Check the oil quantity of reducer of light crane, and remember that it must be kept within the prescribed range. There should be no corrosive or unclean substances mixed in. When refueling, special filter net should be used.           

 3. After running every day, we should check whether the power cable is damaged, especially if there is loosening phenomenon at the connection, and remove the dust around the motor equipment in time. 

 4. Every day, we should also check the corrosion of contactors and controllers' joints, and whether the bolts in different parts fall off. If we find out, we must tighten them in time.            

 5. Check the different structure of the lifting device and whether there is a phenomenon of failure and serious wear and tear of each safety device.
