6 Development Directions of Wire Rope Electric Hoist

As an industrial crane, wire rope electric hoist plays a very important role in many lifting operations. Wire rope hoist crane operating in different working environments have different precautions. Now let's understand the 6 development directions of wire rope hoist in the future.

 (1) Series design rationalization.           

Recommended parameters: lifting weight from 0.25 to 80 t, lifting height from 6 to 63 m, covering the whole series with fewer base types. Recommended lifting speed diversification values: single speed 8 m/min, 10 m/rain, 12.5 m/min. Change of speed ratio of 1/10, 1/3 and 1/4 for two-speed. The dual-speed scheme should consider the mother motor, double windings and variable-pole type, or adopt variable-frequency pole-less speed regulation technology. Referring to GB3811 - 1983 Crane Design Specification, the working level coverage was extended to M3  - M6.

 (2)  Structural form should be able to meet various working conditions.             

 Such as: low clearance, double hanging point and other installation and fixing methods. It can be operated remotely, insulated, anti-corrosion and  moisture-proof, high temperature and heat resistance, explosion-proof and other functional products.

 (3)  Shape design            

 Changing the traditional circular design, adopting square structure and modular design, increasing the universality of parts and components, the layout mode is changed from the original motor-middle shaft-reducer-drum to motor-reducer-drum. It is not only conducive to effectively improving the lifting height of wire rope electric hoist, but also to avoiding the transmission of high-speed shaft and  long shaft, thus improving the running level. Stability and reliability, reduce manufacturing costs. Increase the range of pulley ratio and increase the range of single machine.

 (4)  Using high-quality and high-strength steel wire rope            

 According to the requirements of GB3811-1983 standard, on the premise of meeting the safety factor of tensile strength, the diameter of wire rope should be reduced as much as possible. The appropriate ratio of drum diameter to wire rope diameter and the ratio of pulley diameter to wire rope diameter should be adopted to reduce the structure and dead weight of the whole machine.

 (5)  Optimizing the design of gears to improve the bearing capacity of gears.            

 Gears can be made of 40Cr or 42CrMn or 40MnB materials, tempered and surface quenched. The original 20CrMnTi or 20MnTiB materials are ideal in flexural strength and contact strength of gears. However, due to the influence of domestic basic processing level, gear processing accuracy is low, carburizing and quenching heat treatment deformation is difficult to control, and there is no grinding process in the latter order, which inevitably has the shortcomings of high gear noise and low efficiency. New materials and heat treatment methods have been promoted in many domestic manufacturers. In addition, it is an effective way to improve the smoothness of gear transmission to adopt paired meshing gear pairs of hard and medium hard tooth surfaces, shaving technology for high-speed gears and selection of helical angle of gears in the range of 12. The structure design of gearbox and cover should be conducive to noise absorption and vibration reduction, and the accuracy grade of transmission bearing should be improved.

 (6)  Motor            

 2, 4 and 6 poles conical rotor motors are used for different working conditions. The insulation level of motor should be raised to F and 11, and the protection level should be raised to IP54. The motor is equipped with overheat protection elements. The design of the motor should consider the effective improvement of the useful power, the ability of reducing voltage and the ability of starting and braking. Improve the temperature rise of motor design of wire rope electric hoist and give full play to the potential of motor.
