AL Lever hoists are highly efficient and multi-purpose manual lifting device, featuring the lightest weight compact structure but high price. But they worth that price because of the excellent performance.AL lever hoists are indispensable tools for lifting and rigging, which have an inherent ability to be used in vertical and horizontal applications, even they can handle well with harsh situations and tough environments. With an overall safety factor 2.5 times and higher, overall sealing and protecting performance of AL lever hoists are good which makes them excellent rather than other lever hoists.

 AL lever hoist is a convenient manual device used to lift, lower, or pull a load and to apply or release tension with very light weight owing to the material aluminum alloy. They utilize a ratchet and double pawl mechanical configuration to incrementally raise or lower a load or to apply or release tension. AL lever hoists have the advantage of being easy to transport, require minimum set-up, and are a practical option in confined spaces so that have are suitable for different applications ranging from heavy-duty construction work to day-to-day maintenance and repair jobs. Although they require low pulling force but they have high strength.

 All the rotating parts of AL lever hoists are fitted with abrasion resistant bush. All the main parts and gears are made of alloy steel and heat treated, which means they are more durable and have longer life. AL lever hoists are fitted with high grade alloy load chain which can be pulled freely and easily through the hoist in both directions to attach the load or to tension the chain. For safety reason free chains cannot be done when the hoist is under load. AL lever hoists provide operators with short hand lever with rubber grip, so the users can have tight and comfortable handling. Due to optimal gear ration, the hand lever operates needs little effort. In case of dangerous overloading or abuse, the hook does not fracture but will slowly yield. Grade 80 Zinc Plated FEC CHAIN from Japan & RUD CHAIN from Germany are available upon request.

 AL lever hoists adopt Grade 80/G100 chain so that customers can choose either of them. The chain is made of high strength alloy steel, can be customized different length.

 Load sprocket and load gear are combined as an integral part which make lever hoists more compact and durable. 4 links load sprocket make it more stable in lifting and longer life for the load chain, especially for the 250 hoist.
 5. Hooks
 Hooks should swivel freely and inspect hooks for signs of opening, cracking, bending, arc burns, welds and corrosion.

Except for the AL lever hoists, there are three other types of aluminum lever hoists ARK lever hoists, LSB lever hoists, CCP levr hoists. Because all these lever hoists are made of aluminum alloy, the weighr of aluminum alloy lever chain blocks is very light which is just half, or even lighter of ordinary lever chain blocks. And the distance is small after tightening, so it is easier for the chain end to install. The rolled-edge hand wheel cover provides smooth operation of the hand  chain when pulled sideways. Strong and least-corrosive electrostatic powder painting and wet friction discs ensure longer lift span. Besides, tough gear casing, reinforced with four ribs and four knock pins, provides accurate gear centering and high mechanical efficiency. The whole aluminum bosy make them more suitable for working high in the sky because of their light weight. So they are ideal tools for equipment installation, cargo lifting, objects fixing, binding and traction.

Others
 Each AL lever hoist is conducted an operational test at 150% of rated capacity.
 The hoist shall withstand a 1500 cycles with 110% of the rated capacity at least 300mm per cycle. Most othe hoists cannot pass the endurance test.
 The technicla parameters of AL lever hoists include capacity, model, chain falls, load chian, rated load pull, standard lift, net weight, gross weight, dimensions.

Inspection
 Inspect lift wheel for foreign material, wear and corrosion.
 Inspect sheaves for wear, freedom of movement and corrosion.
 Inspect dead end pins for wear, tightness and corrosion.

Cautions
 1. All persons involved in the operation of AL lever hoist must read the manufacturers handbook and be completely familiar with all operating and maintenance procedures.
 2. When operating a lever hoist, always maintain a firm footing and when necessary be secured. Operate the lever hoist from a location that will be clear of the load at all times. Before lifting a load, confirm that the lever hoist is in good condition and functioning properly.
 3. Always keep the load chain well lubricated and protect it from weld spatter and other damaging contaminants.
 4. People must stay clear of the suspended load. Never use the lever hoist to lift, support or transport people and never lift loads over or near people.
 5. Never allow the load chain or hooks to be used as a ground for welding and never touch them with live welding electrodes.
 6. Never use the lever hoist with twisted, kinked, damaged or worn load chains and never attempt to lengthen the load chain.
 7. Always use proper slings and attachments in the correct manner and confirm that they are seated properly in the hooks. Also confirm that the safety catch assembly has closed completely and is not supporting any part of the load.
 8. Lifting more than the rated is prohibited. Slack load chain must be taken up carefully.
 9. While checking the balance of the load, lift and lower the load about 100mm to test the brake system before lifting further.
 10. Never allow your attention to be diverted when operating the lever hoist and never leave a suspended load unattended.
 11. Never adjust or repair a lever hoist unless you are competent in performing hoist maintenance. Never remove or obscure the nameplate on the lever hoist.
 12. The changeover lever must be set to the "UP" position when the lever hoist is under a load during hoisting or pulling operations.
 13. Lifting a load with two lever hoists is not recommended. If the job is unavoidable, keep the load well within the total rated capacity of the two lever hoists and lift with exceptional care while maintaining proper balance, angle and lifting speed.
 14. Confirm that the supporting structure is strong enough to support the intended load.
