            Boat winches can be divided into two kinds including manual boat trailer winches and electric boat winches. The manual boat winches are the most common winches on a boat trailer with basic but effective at pulling the boat onto the trailer. There is a combination of a drum with the line/strap, a ratchet lock to connect to the front of the boat and a vertical spinner to activate the pulling. 1.Hand crank｜Emergency crank handle

           5.  Steps on loading a boat to a trailer
           At first, tilt the engine up so it will not scrape against the floor. Secondly, you have to tie the bow to the strap and start winching the boat up the trailer. You have to make sure that the boat is dead center of the trailer. Third, attach the chain once winched up tight and drive the boat /trailer up the slipway. The attach al safety straps. At last, perform necessary checks before embarking on your journey.
           6.  Caution
           ①The hubs should stay dry while boat glides onto the trailer and you don’t need to hand-crank a ton of fiberglass while a Saturday crowd looks on. Also, when the hubs are hot, do not let trailer go into the water.
           ②Owing to safety risks, launching the boat is less important than retrieving the boat. As you are retrieving the boat, it is important that it is aligned correctly on the trailer as more than likely it will be driven on the road straight after. There is risk that it could slip on the trailer whilst driving on the road if not  aligned correctly.
           ③Blocking other users from using the slipway is forbidden.
           ④Remove the bow and strap chain, the you have to ensure all safety straps have been removed beforehand.
           ⑤Remember that let the boat slowly glide of the trailer with someone holding a rope so it doesn’t stroll away in the water.
           ⑥Operators have to reverse into the water until the stern of the boat begins to float. Moreover, have a second person checking this before getting out the vehicle.
           ⑦Once complete, don’t  forget to turn off the car and put the car in gear and engage the handbrake.
           ⑧The boat winches will shut down automatically if overloaded.
           7.  Operation
           Boat winches generally have similar operating instructions.
           ①Turn the clutch control clockwise to release the brake when launching.
           ②Do this slowly to control the speed at which the boat comes off the trailer and the clutch knob is like the safety on your hand-crank winch. Then you have to give it a push.
