Knowledge that Electric lifter Drivers Need to Master

Drivers of electric lifter trucks should not only be familiar with the performance and structure of the lifter truck, but also master the basic knowledge of loading and unloading work.
 1.  On good roads, the rated lifting capacity of lifter trucks is 2 tons. When operating under poor road conditions, the lifting capacity should be reduced appropriately and the driving speed should be reduced.

 2.  When loading goods, the size of the goods should be taken to adjust the distance between the forks. The weight of the goods should be divided equally by two forks, so as to avoid the slippage of the goods under partial load or moving. After the fork is inserted into the stack, the fork wall should contact  the cargo side, and then the gantry is tilted backward, lifting the fork from the ground about 200 mm before driving.

 3.  It is strictly forbidden to drive at high-speed and fast-turning domes, to lift or drop goods, etc. No one is allowed under the crane.

 4.  Carried goods on slopes over 7 degrees shall be above the slopes. No brake should be applied to transport the goods so as to prevent them from slipping out. When handling large cargo, the cargo is out of sight. Lifter trucks should reverse and drive at low speed.

 5.  It is strictly forbidden to leave the engine idle without anyone to watch after parking, let alone to hang the goods in the air while the driver leaves the driving position.

 6. Lifter truck stops in the middle. When the engine idles, the door frame should be retracted backward. When the engine stops, the sliding frame should be lowered and the fork should be landed forward.

 7.  In the course of work, if suspicious noise or abnormal phenomena are found, stop and check immediately, take timely measures to eliminate them, and do not continue working until troubleshooting has been done.

 8.  After a day's work, fuel tank should be refueled so as not only to drive out the moisture in the tank, but also to prevent the water droplets condensed at night from dissolving in the oil.

 9.  No one may use lifter trucks without the consent of the company's leaders. In order to improve the service life of lifter trucks and prevent accidents, in order to maintain the optimal operation state of lifter trucks and the normal operation of each part, regular maintenance of the machine must be strictly carried out during the use process. In the use of electric lifter trucks, special attention should be paid to timely charging of batteries and correct maintenance of batteries. When charging the batteries, we should pay attention to the methods. We should not only make the batteries fully charged, but also not cause the excessive charging of the batteries.

In the operation of electric lifter truck, as far as possible, the use of long-term and long-distance acceleration is minimal. When the vehicle starts and the speed increases, the acceleration pedal will be stabilized. If the road condition is good, the vehicle will continue to accelerate. When the vehicle needs to decelerate, relax the acceleration pedal and gently pedal the brake pedal, so that the energy of deceleration can be fully utilized. If the vehicle has regenerative braking function, the kinetic energy of deceleration can be recovered. When the vehicle goes down the ramp, don't disconnect the circuit of  driving motor, gently press the brake pedal, so that the vehicle runs in the regenerative braking state, making use of the downward kinetic energy of the vehicle and reducing the energy consumption of the storage battery.
In vehicle operation, do not mistake the forward and backward direction switch as the steering switch. Do not pedal the brake pedal directly to the bottom unless an emergency deceleration is required. In the process of vehicle operation, when the battery power is insufficient (which can be obtained by electric meter, power loss indicator lamp and other alarm devices), the battery should be charged as soon as possible to prevent excessive discharge of the battery.
