 In western culture, there are many types of high-altitude operations, such as maintenance and repair of religious buildings, landscapes and other landmark buildings. In the process of high-altitude operations, based on safety measures to prevent high-altitude crashes, it is necessary to equip high-altitude operators with speed difference automatic controllers. For example, the Gothic Church in Germany is a typical high-rise building. It is very dangerous to operate it at high altitude, so the fall arresters is essential. Such high-rise buildings include lighthouses, high-rise hotels, wind power towers, Sydney Olympic venues, chimneys and other high-rise buildings.            

 In addition, in the lifting and transportation of indoor steel structures in various large-scale factories and warehouses, and various ports offshore and transportation industries, considering the safety measures against high-altitude falling, it is also necessary to provide fall protection for operators and lifting cargo.            

 Industry status: At present, tower crane used in construction site climbing ladder without guard ring and other safety measures to prevent falling at high altitude. When erecting and disassembling tower cranes and drivers climb up and down the ladder directly, they are easy to step on empty and fall when the ladder is wet and slippery, resulting in high fall casualties and potential safety hazards.

 Based on the consideration of falling protection in high-altitude operation, the manufacturer of fall arresters has put forward the following suggestions for customers: during high-altitude operation of electric power, the climbing ladder used by operators for climbing up and down should not be defective, and the height relative to the falling datum level should not be increased due to the use of cushion height, so as to improve the level of high-altitude operation of electric power. The classification of high altitude operations is detailed in the "Classification of high altitude operations" issued  by the State. When using the straight climbing ladder, the upper end should have reliable connection points, and the upper and lower altitude workers should adopt the speed differential fall arresters.
