As a kind of lifting equipment with high safety performance, chain electric hoist has been widely used in industrial manufacturing and housing construction. But before using the hoist, we need to check, let's do a specific understanding.

 1. Check Voltage            

 In the first step, we need to check the operating voltage of the chain electric hoist to ensure that the voltage value is not less than 10% of the rated voltage. Because when the motor starts to start, it needs too small torque range, and needs to consume a lot of electricity to be able to lift goods. So sometimes too low voltage will cause the failure that the equipment can‘t start normally. When checking the equipment voltage, we can use multimeter and other measuring instruments to measure the relevant voltage value, but to ensure the stability of the equipment voltage.

 2. Check for missing phase            

 Circuit short-circuit and circuit break will also lead to inadequate power supply of equipment, which makes the loop hoist equipment unable to operate normally. For this kind of fault, we need to check the circuit board of the equipment in detail. When inspecting the circuit board, it is necessary to cut off the power supply of the equipment. Otherwise, it will not only cause damage to the circuit board, but  also threaten people's life and safety.

 3. Inspection of power failure            

 After completing all the above steps, we need to check the electrical status of the equipment. Usually, we can use the test pen to measure, and we need to repair the line that can‘t be connected in time.

 In addition, the chain electric hoist also has a lot of protection mechanisms to ensure that the equipment can reduce the degree of damage in the event of failure.

 1. Short circuit protection

 3. Overheat protection            

 The chain hoist will produce a lot of heat when it is running, which will lead to a sharp rise in body temperature. At this time, the overheating protection mechanism is particularly important.

 4. Load Limitation Protection            

 Ring chain hoist has the maximum maturity of goods. Limited load protection is to avoid damage to equipment caused by overloading of lifting goods. Recently, many cases of crane injuries caused by wire rope breakage due to overloading of lifting goods have been reported in the news. Therefore, the load limiting protection mechanism has a very important impact on the normal operation of chain hoist.

 5. Phase sequence protection            

 Phase sequence protection can adjust the layout of the line itself in case of confusion of wiring, so as to ensure the stable and efficient operation of the Chain electric hoist.
